Naz task 4

The film Wanted is not the typical hollywood film as it has exaggerated scenes in the film that people may like because its defining the laws of reality but because its entertaining people will enjoy the film, in this clip we see a man running through the elevator as he has already killed a woman, the techniques they used to make the film more entertaining by slowing down the bullet scenes/danger scenes, also in the clip we then see the man jump out of the window through the glass in slow motion to make the scene more exciting so this will make the audience like the film even more.

I like this clip because it showed so much exciting and exaggerated scenes  that cannot be done in real life which made it fun to watch , I liked the way the slowed down the time of how each person was killed it made it different rather than regular films where they get shot and we don't see the bullet go through the head ,so I liked that because it was different it made the film more interesting and not so typical as other action films as people would die quick in other action films.

This film is also good for people who like action films and for people who want to see something different so i watched it for the first time it was on my mind for a very long time because this film in most scenes catches you off guard and your not expecting some of the things that are being shown in just one clip, the film wanted also made me want watch the film again because of the action but mainly because it has a good range of camera angles and a strong and easy storyline that people can almost relate to.

The film is also very different as in ,most action films people fight with guns but its never actually slown down and you never see people dodging bullets normally the character  dies and thats the end of the characters run in the movie.

Rewind mind map sue

First ideas

Shoot a story with a normal narrative ,then edit the story then ill play the story backwards ,flipping the narrative and the events of the story backwards.

Rewind video ,so a story that starts from finish and the beginning is the end of the story.

Second ideas
Green screen of me interacting with my self chasing myself in different backgrounds e.g. sunset background ,space background , jungle scene of me running

Third ideas

My third idea would be to do something similar to what I saw at Tatemorden gallery ,where a woman was in therapy talking to herself about her problems and it was being projected on the other side of the room , so there was two videos of her giving herself advice and one was distressed. but instead of a therapy session i will make it different and interview myself about music and ask myself various questions

Fourth idea

My fourth idea would be to show different peoples identity In the video with different music in the background relating to the lines "that's not me" ,I will gather a few people to be in my video installation and use the surroundings and put my own kind of flavour to it ,to make it as creative as possible,I will use at least 6 people for my video and I will use an empty space.

Sam taylor wood

Sam Taylor Wood - she takes videos of decomposing things /animals/ fruits and makes them move slowly , the video I watched was about a decomposing Hair and over moths we see the changes of the hair as it becomes rotten seeing different stages of the Hair ,at the end of the video we see that the hair has completely decomposed and that the fruit has stayed completely the same,Taylor Wood said that at first she didn't want to become an artist at first but every idea she kept on producing were just so creative it turned out to be more artistic then the next.

Sam TaylornWood took photos of John Lennon for her work just a few hours before Lennon was assassinated ,she also worked with the Rolling Stones very own famous photographer Annie Leibovitz in the John Lennon photograph, Sam woods also used different ways of expressing her art by doing it other ways ,e.g she used video style to capture certain things for her work,In 1997 Woods won an award for her art work that she never really wanted to call art work in the start of her making the creative things she had done ,She won the Illy CafĂ© Prize for Most Promising Young Artist at the 1997 Venice Biennale.

Taylor-Wood was commissioned by the National portrait gallery  to make a video portrait of footballs very own David Beckham, her most well know famous creative art work is called "crying men" which she made in early 2002 ,this features so many know Hollywood actors like Robin Williams, Sean Penn , Laurance fishburne and Paul Newman.Woods has also featured in such various things in her career away from her art work which she is most know for ,but things like TV shows and the annular film festival has boosted her name through out the world.

mood board Tate-M

This will be my idea for my final piece ,,it will be based on maybe fairy tail story's and are going to be remade and acted out by real life people but the twist would be to change it and do all the events in a fairy tail (the original) in reverse just to make the idea and the whole concept of the final piece more interesting

naz task 3

Film trailer

Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles is a classic film that was made in the 90's and has been remade many times in the film industry.

Because most of our parents grew up on this show and most kids who were born in the 90's grew up on this cartoon turned into a family action film would want to see how it has changed from there generation so them watching this film can be watched out curiosity to see how its changed over the years and the storyline.

This would be a film that entertains the younger as well audience because there are cartoons of the teenage mutant ninja turtles that have been remade so many times ,so they know the charters and almost what to expect from the film. The creators of the film made the trailer to grab the attention of the current and original teenage mutant ninja turtle fans and show the evolution of how the film has changed over the years.

The trailer was also used to capture a new audience of fans who may be in the cinema at the time waiting to watch a different film then in the adverts of the film you come across the trailer, so this would appeal to anyone who likes action films and anyone who just in general likes the film.
