Evaluation for final project photography



I think that my pictures that I created for my final piece were good at the end of the day, I made sure that the planning towards the whole project was very accurate ,at first my final project was going to be about food and different types of food and what you can create out of them ,e.g. peoples faces ,cars and other objects. I then decided to change my idea to pictures of people looking gloomy and in winter jacket and then gave it an effect to make it look different.

I fell that I could have maybe improved my final idea by taking a lot more pictures and making and make everyone have a different facial expression instead of just the of just the one ,because it would have made it look different and made the final project look like even though its a winter effect but also it is also to do with different emotions.

But overall I think the project went well and the build up to it was good because I managed to complete it and had some inspirations from the other tasks that I done e.g. light graffiti , light orbs.

production diary Sports relief


We all directed and added a few ideas for the production itself. Moses was head director and camera ,me and Rey were the main actors and we had an extra actor saffron to be in the production on the day we shot the comedy sketch.

At first we had another idea from another former member of our group but he never showed up so we then scraped that idea and then went on the ideas of what we had as a group previously

Monday - we started filming our video idea for our comedy sketch.

Tuesday -  On Tuesday we planned on what song we was going to use for the comedy sketch and what the actual content for the sports relief was going to be about ,also we planned on the location we was going to use that day ,we also got our equipment ready so we can do a bit of filming that day.

Wednesday - On Wednesday we didn't meet up as we had a class trip to go on but we still knew what we was going to do for our work.

On Monday we spoke about whose idea out of the three of me Moses and Rey we would pursuit in, we then made a whole new idea together and decided to do a spoof instead al putting our own input into the whole final idea. 
We started planning and sorting out the actors who were going to be in the comedy spoof and we started writing notes down ,whose editing who’s going to be camera man and who’s going to be sound man



On Tuesday we planned on what song we was going to use for the comedy sketch and what the actual content for the sports relief was going to be about ,also we planned on the location we was going to use that day ,we also got our equipment ready so we can do a bit of filming that day. 

we got the rocky theme tune from the movie as our backup sound track for our comedy spoof, we also got our equipment and started recording our first part of our comedy sketch ,we filmed down stairs entrance near the college , using actors Rey and Alex in active roles. 


On Wednesday we didn’t meet up as we had a class trip to go on but we still knew what we was going to do for our work.
no action was taken place as we had a class trip that we went on for our other work.
The next Monday on the 17th we all met up in one of the pods on 3rd floor and continued with our sports relief project ,we spoke as a group on what we needed to film that day for our work. 

We took action we got our editor Rey to edit the clips and put the soundtrack on. And Moses the director and Alex put our own inputs in the post-production

On Tuesday we discussed that there was some shot that we did not need, so we made cuts and left footage that we was satisfied with.

AOB  We didn’t make no money from our production and we didn’t need to put any money into our production ,because it was all provided for us in the college as we had everything we needed

·          We set up this meeting on Monday 6th November
Time: 9:20am
We set up a plan on the white board before we shot the actual footage, and spoke about what subjects and what rooms were going to shoot in first. We emailed the teachers asking them when they were teaching and when they can let us in the class room to start filming, some teachers replied the same day and some applied the next day.

Time:

  •  This was set up on Tuesday 7th November
    Time:12:40pm
  • On Tuesday we then began to shoot out first footage, we shot in the science class room on the A level floor,where we got some good footage of the science students conducting some experiments, after  that we then had a break, after the break we shot outside footage of the security class walking people down the stairs to the car park

Time:

  • Set up on Wednesday 8th of November
    Time was at 4:00pm
  • On Wednesday was college opening day for new students, we shot some footage of people in the library working and also shot the visitors from other schools looking into the subjects they wanted to do in the future. We filmed the sports science class room where we spent up to an hour filming them in the class with the teacher teaching the theory part of sports science

Time:

  •  day:9th November
    Time: we started at 9:00amThe next day we got footage of a five a side football match in the gym ,this was a sports P.E game for the students, we filmed for about 20mins and kept the footages that were good, that same day we also shot footage of a basketball match which also took place in the gym but this was for training exercise and then got some of the game they played before moving to the next  subject. We then went to 5th floor to record the A level business class , got footage of the students and the teacher teaching ,we filmed for 15mins before then having a lunch break. After that we then went to the 3rd floor in the canteen and filmed students just being themselves ,we got footage of dancing ,ping pong and other different things .

  •  : 10th of November
    Time: I came in at 12:40 pm 
  • We went to performing arts area and got some footage of the students warming up before going into their actual lesson plan, after filming the performing arts students we then shot footage of students from the photography class for the rest of the day till about 4:40pm in the afternoon. We also we then got a guy and a girl to shoot the opening scene for the college acting out a small scene outside the college.

Evaluation sports relief

My Role

This is an evaluation of the things that i did that lead up to the student awards on the 10th of March 2014, I will some up a few things that happened that night and the role me and my group played that night
I did group work and the people I worked with in the group were Rey and Moses,
My role was shared with a class mate as we were filming for the sports relief .
We arranged for us to all meet up in  2SW8 to get stared on our ideas .
On the day of the sports relief ,  I was the camera man number 1 ,which meant that i had a role of importance by making sure i was positioned correctly  .we prepared for the day by practising we only had at least 45 minutes to practice as everyone had to get into the correct positions , I think we had a good day when filming the practice as we practice one day ahead of the actual event and we also came in early on production day in the morning to practice our roles.

I also had another role in the live performances and I took to stage with my class mate Rey and I did a performance for our groups as we didn't have any live performances at the time so we volunteered our selfs to help the group
