VOX pops

Vox radio

In the speech package they have one part in the package that is edited when they are talking about Clarkes shoes, they put in the song Clarkes by Vybz kartel to show that people now a days know Clarkes shoes for a different reason rather than its real intentions and that is normal shoes to be worn, they were originally talking about school shoes/normally business shoes people wear to work or other events but it obviously relates in a way to the public mainly young people because it was originally just about shoes when turned into a song now that is trendy and now gets played in clubs mainly for the youth.the presenter that speaks on the radio has a deep voice and the way he speaks is formal,he also speaks in one tone of voice to get his message across.there is int any actuality in the Clarkes part of the package as it seems to go very quick but when he speaks about it the presenters voice is very calm and it seems to engage the audience and makes you want to listen on in what he is saying

RADIO 4 MORNING SHOW

09/01/13 BBC Radio 4, they did a speech package about 10 songs that were in the newspapers voted by the members of the public to be the most relaxing songs that you will ever come across when  trying to fall asleep or driving long distances in your car so you can relax too. There were songs from Justin Timberlake , Bruno mars, Elton john, S club 7, Rod Stewart and many more. The time this was located in the speech package was 45:30. Again in the vox pox the same presenter  talks in the same type of tone in his voice it is also formal towards the people are listening to the radio station. When he is speaking he is talking to older people who would tune into his radio show, his tone of voice when he is speaking about his is different to when hes talking about lets say news its more relaxing and assuring but still formal to people that may know these types of songs.
RADIO 4 EVENING SHOW

Radio 4 had another speech package at 27:13 talking about there different sounds intros in how they would normally start off a show and talking about how the sound of the intro is different in the time zone we live in today. They interviewed a man called Adam Foster who lives in Seattle and he listens to radio 4 ,he then came up with a solution in how to listen to radio 4 with an appropriate  time delay,he talks about him being 8 hours behind just because of where he lives and having to use an SD card to record it and then play it back.when they played back the conversation between the presenter and the guest they both spoke to each other in a formal content as though they were friends it wasn't to serious there was about of laughing in the recording but enough laughing to make the audience feel as if they were involved in the convocation. There was some actuality because first they play a recording of the guest talking about what he does and how he cant listen to the radio station live then it goes into him actually talking to the presenter in the studio.

RADIO 4 AFTERNOON SHOW

10/01/13 BBC radio 4 again at 43:26  played a short package clip of a song after talking about rich people being well dressed going to high priced concerts (the Arts) and their culture, talking about it will be the end for middle class people  to go to the arts because of it being too expensive and the majority of rich people going to see the arts, there predictions was that rich people are going to be able to get into things like the arts more easily because they have the money to pay for certain things like expensive drama classes and expensive writing classes. There was some actuality in this speech package as when the presenter played back the recording of the guest talking about the art they were in the actual gallery because he lets the audience know where he is and where his location is at that current stake of time, when they are speaking to each other they are talking in a formal tone of voice with interest and this makes us grab a picture in our own heads imagining both the presenter and the guests faces, by thew tone of their voice you can tell that they are really having a serious conversation as it seems to really be a culture problem.

OVERALL EVALUATION

All of the speech packages have been made for different purpose and audiences, they have different speech package's and some were entertained with some music inside the package, some of the speech packages that was in my work had "actuality" this means actual recording that happens outside that have been edited and then put into the speech package for the public to hear and stay tuned into,in my work i also discovered that most of the presenters had different tones of voice not just because they were men or women but because it deepened on the type of subject that was been spoken about e.g. when they spoke about clarkes shoes the presenter kind of spoke in a mocking tone as it sounded like he didn't understand how such as a school shoes product that kids do not like to ware has become popular to them in a song, where as there was another speech paxkage where they were talking about the arts and how normal people cannot really afford it anymore because rich people are taking over and the tone of voice in the conversation was really serious as the man spoke in a very apposing way to the guest as they both really felt strongly about the subject.
