Glossary of terms

Video formats:
There are different types of formats for videos like MP4 which allows you to watch videos
on any device lets say i phone ,you can watch it in HD which also helps the video look better and makes the quality look nice.
3G is another video format and is good to watch videos on,it is also very clear a bit like Mp4 but not as good ,however there is an advanced upgrade to 3G and that is 4G which is faster and again like HD make the quality better
Streaming:
This is an audio and video use and you use it on the internet basically live and online.if you listen to something online or watch a video online then this is called streaming because it is not being viewed or listened on television.some streaming sites you will have to pay for in order for you to watch them or listen to what ever ,other websites are free of charge so you can watch any live sport that is taking place that day.
File Compression:
is a reduced size of data in order for you to save space or any sort of transmission this can be done by just the data content or it can be done on a transmission, but his depends on the factors.like if you want to maybe save a video on to your computer or laptop and you dont have space because the MB takes up to much space ,you could put it in a file compression and this will reduces the size of the MB in order for you to download or watch.
Aspect Ratios: 4:3, 16:9 is basically to do with images and cameras,its mainly to do with cropping and editing pictures and videos the 16:9 camera makes the image look bigger so e.g. if you are shooting a film you can see your whole picture or film bigger than the 4:3 because the 4:3 may not get everything inside the video shot because it is not big enough where as the 16:9 can more time fit your whole body in the shot.
Frame Rates:
is a motion pictures or television online videos, it is also a number of images that are displayed per second which allows us to watch things like videos television and other forms of mp4s ,the higher the number of frames playing per second the better quality the video and the clearer it is ,the people that control this are the television editors.

This is a video and it is based on a the game ''super Mario brothers'', and it is a spoof that he produced by him self video editing and acting also special effects.
This is a comedy sketch so this is more for people who understand super Mario and have played it before.
Because there is some foul language this type of video is suitable for the age limits of around 15-upwards.
The purpose of this video is to make people laugh and turn a friendly video game from the 80's and give it some drama and humor.
the budget of this video was free he didn't have to pay as it was well edited himself.
This video is called "gather round ive got a story to tell"
This is about a man who has experienced his own encounter with gangs and he tells the views about it.
this is video is designed to make people laugh it is a comedy ,this may not be suitable for young viewers because there is some foul language in the video so i would say the age gap is around 18-30 year old.
The purpose for people to be aware of gangs around them and to also show the funny side of things.
this video has been edited alot to get different angles and different types of feeling towards this video,it doesn't hold any special effect as it is a simple home video. the budget of this film was free as he made it himself.

This is a viral interactive marketing video which Heineken have created to make people want to by the drink because of the entertainment along with the viral add.this advert was put on you tube videos as well so you can watch it, Heineken used this advert to sell more of their drinks mainly targeted for older views that are at the age of buying this drink in the shop.The purpose of this video was to show people different cultures and still advertise there brand and maybe to give the audience the illusion that if yo drink their brand of drink then you can do all these amazing things shown in this advert.This video was well edited some things were maybe done by computer to make things in this advert seem more exciting and realistic in order to give out a good loo for the company.the budget to make this advert was around £1100 including special effects clothes and props.

it is a marketing video from the brand off Kellogg to sell their products to kids ,with a animated face and the introduction of chocolate as a breakfast cereal.
i would say that it is targeted for kids in order for them to be with their parents in the local shops and get that specific cereal for them.This as made advert was made in 2012,over the years Kellogg s have introduced co co pops for kids and with the same animated face that they are familiar with. it is also a breakfast cereal that can be aimed for ages up to 4-17 as alot of people young do eat this cereal.
the editing of the advert was around £23,000 as the video has alot of special effects and 4D like animation.

i have only one brother he's 21 years old and we lots of fights even though he's older than me he should know better ,but he's family so he's going to be around for a while so i have to deal with it*sighs*

Time management - 400 words
400 words
I will structure my idea plans very well and I shall make
sure every piece of work I do not complete is then completed. I shall do at
least an hour of work to make sure my work is fully completed to the best of my
ability. If I am stuck on my work then I will go to my tutor or any of my
teachers taht work in the department and will ask for help if the task is difficult.
Also, i'll structure my timetable to keep myself on track with work, sleep and timing. If I am ill or away for
any reason I will also take the time to talk to my buddy for any other work I
have to do or have missed out on in order for me to catch up, or if
my buddy is away then I will help he or she out on their work and
give them the necessary items e.g. sheets/documents to help them in our work. i
will take it upon myself to get a diary so I can record things that i need or
any targets my form tutor of teacher gives me, so I know what I need to focus
on and so I can improve on my learning in college; If I am in need
of any help or advice then i can go to student support care and they can talk
to me and give me good advice.
There are a lot of useful resources available in the
college for me like ,the gym ,this can help me in a lot of ways
,i wouldn't have to go to a gym and pay a lot of money where as in
city of Westminster i can go to the gym and pay once a year which is
not a lot at all considering how much other gyms costs, there is also a dance
studio where you can dance if you have a passion for dancing and you need
to practice which is always good and it is open to all members of the
college. also we have a canteen where if you feel you do not need to
come out of college to go to the shops you can always go to the canteen and get
lunch which is easier than going out of college. The college also has a games
area for break time and lunch time where you can hang out with
friends and you can interact with other students you have not met them yet it’s a
good way of making new friends.
