Video formats:
There are different types of formats for videos like MP4 which allows you to watch videos
on any device lets say i phone ,you can watch it in HD which also helps the video look better and makes the quality look nice.
3G is another video format and is good to watch videos on,it is also very clear a bit like Mp4 but not as good ,however there is an advanced upgrade to 3G and that is 4G which is faster and again like HD make the quality better
Streaming:
This is an audio and video use and you use it on the internet basically live and online.if you listen to something online or watch a video online then this is called streaming because it is not being viewed or listened on television.some streaming sites you will have to pay for in order for you to watch them or listen to what ever ,other websites are free of charge so you can watch any live sport that is taking place that day.
File Compression:
is a reduced size of data in order for you to save space or any sort of transmission this can be done by just the data content or it can be done on a transmission, but his depends on the factors.like if you want to maybe save a video on to your computer or laptop and you dont have space because the MB takes up to much space ,you could put it in a file compression and this will reduces the size of the MB in order for you to download or watch.
Aspect Ratios: 4:3, 16:9 is basically to do with images and cameras,its mainly to do with cropping and editing pictures and videos the 16:9 camera makes the image look bigger so e.g. if you are shooting a film you can see your whole picture or film bigger than the 4:3 because the 4:3 may not get everything inside the video shot because it is not big enough where as the 16:9 can more time fit your whole body in the shot.
Frame Rates:
is a motion pictures or television online videos, it is also a number of images that are displayed per second which allows us to watch things like videos television and other forms of mp4s ,the higher the number of frames playing per second the better quality the video and the clearer it is ,the people that control this are the television editors.
