The large depth of field is a larger scale , it focus on things in front of the camera and expands the picture making a bigger landscape depending of the type of picture you take. the aperture has to be high depending on what your taking the picture of and the environment ,the Manuel focus on auto isn't that important as the camera can focus its self when taking the picture but still may be useful when taking pictures to do so yourself
