My Role
This is an evaluation of the things that i did that lead up to the student awards on the 10th of March 2014, I will some up a few things that happened that night and the role me and my group played that night
I did group work and the people I worked with in the group were Rey and Moses,
My role was shared with a class mate as we were filming for the sports relief .
We arranged for us to all meet up in 2SW8 to get stared on our ideas .
On the day of the sports relief , I was the camera man number 1 ,which meant that i had a role of importance by making sure i was positioned correctly .we prepared for the day by practising we only had at least 45 minutes to practice as everyone had to get into the correct positions , I think we had a good day when filming the practice as we practice one day ahead of the actual event and we also came in early on production day in the morning to practice our roles.
I also had another role in the live performances and I took to stage with my class mate Rey and I did a performance for our groups as we didn't have any live performances at the time so we volunteered our selfs to help the group

· On Monday we spoke about whose idea out of
the three of me Moses and Rey we would pursuit in, we then made a whole new idea together and decided to
do a spoof instead al putting our own input into the whole final idea.

- On Tuesday we planned on what song we was going to use for
the comedy sketch and what the actual content for the sports relief was going to
be about ,also we planned on the location we was going to use that day ,we also
got our equipment ready so we can do a bit of
filming that day.

class trip to go on but we still knew what we was going to do for our work.

Frazers video installation projection stages a psychiatrist session in which the viewer is addressed as a therapist patient and spectator.
I felt distressed for the woman because she began to break down and you felt sorry for her but I didn't know what exactly what her problem was as she kept on breaking down, she was also moving very fidgety.

Video of different flowers been shown and different colours ,showing different buildings ,explores the complex task of representing history combining the memories of the film maker peter Watkings with images.
It didn't really make me feel any type of way because all that was really shown was like different random images, I found that most parts of the videos were hard to understand which made it hard for me to understand the technique being shown in the video.

Grime, also known as 8-bar, nu shape, sublow and eskibeat, is a style of British music that emerged in Bow, London in the early 2000s, primarily as a development of UK garage, drum and bass, hip hop and dancehall. Pioneers of this style include English rappers Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Roll Deep, Kano, and Skepta. It's about GRIME music and how and where it originated from ,
also its about the history of GRIME music and who are the people who made the music popular today in this time of age,also about how long GRIME has been a genre of its own and the international growth of the genre its self.

Who is it about?:

It is about Alex and Rey and how they both got into there music ,it's also about the clash of two genres and how different there style of music is compared to each other,so in the documentary they will be talking about what influenced them into making that type of music and what makes there sound in some ways give people different emotions

What happened?:

We sit down with Alex and Rey and talk about there genre of music they donnas what they want in the future in there career as an artist ,we also talk too them individually about why they chose that genre and what I file eve them in to making music in general

Where did it take place?:

The first part of the production will take place in the City of Westminster College where the interviews will take place. And the second and last part will be a recording studio in Camden Town where the artist will record a song for the documentary.

The production shall commence on the 10th of March at 10:45am.

Why did it happen?:
|
We thought that it would be interesting to bring 2 very different music genres together and see if it is possible to make them collaborate with one another. We thought that by coming together it would be very interesting for audiences that like either one of the genres.

How did it happen?:
|
How it happened was we found out that we both had a common interest in music, and then came up with the idea that we should collaborate, both we then found out that we had different interests in music style, and we thought it'd be a good idea to find out if we could mix the 2 genres together since, we've seen other styles do so as well, e.g. Hip Hop and Pop.

Evaluation staff Awards
My role
This is an evaluation of the things that i did that lead up to the student awards on the 11ths of December 2013 i will some up a few things that happened that night and the role me and my group played that night
I did group work and the people I worked with in the group were Tom Jian Alison and Hannah,
My role was shared with a class mate as we were filming for the student awards.
We arranged for the client to come in at 4:30pm in room 2SW10.We then showed the Head teacher and the client Nadeem the title sequence and then they gave us there opinion on what needed to be changed and what needed to be added in the title sequence.
On the night of the staff awards I was the camera man number 2 and I shared this role with Shqiponoja .we prepared for the night before we shot we did a practice run on how we was going to take turns on who would shoot the first hour of the staff/student awards, I did the first hour and a half then i let Shqiponoja do some of the camera work, i think we could have held the camera in a more comfortable position for both of us because it was straining on our arms at this caused our reactions to change the camera positions a bit slow and camera to be a bit shaky.
But overall i think i did a good job of reserving the battery on the camera as well as we didn't have enough battery in the beginning of the night we made due with the battery we had but just in case we had a spare battery in case the battery did run out on the night

Final idea for comic relief
We could do something similar to (a question of sorts and a league
of their own) But it could involve all teachers from different departments P.E teachers,
Media teachers, Art teachers, Drama teachers facing off against each other but
instead of giving them the questions about their own subject mix up the
questions and give them all different question to their opposite corner/subject
to make it more difficult and the winner is crowned best department.
Example 1 : This would be a good example of what we could make the night
look like.

We could use the Theatre for the quiz night and it should be
held after college around 5:30pm – 7:00pm that would be enough time to get a lot
of questions out, we should also do a challenge where you can ask the audience on
what the right answer could be almost like the TV show who wants to be a millionaire,
to get the audience more involved with the action. Also we will need a some
type of trophy instead of getting an actual trophy we could get a free voucher
for one lunch anytime for the winner of the contest, we will need at least 5
vouchers as there will be 5 on each team representing there department.

Teachers quiz –
all the teachers are tested on their knowledge of their opposite department with a number of questions.
Spoof of music video –
do a comedy video of a popular music video most people know in the college.
Spoof of Eastenders
– imitate characters from Eastenders and re create a famous scene from
Eastenders.
Charity sports –
Different teachers from each department and a student of their choice egg and
spoon race.
Tug and war – teacher’s
vs. students in the gym.
